Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.

Dr. Lowman was very caring. This was a very difficult decision to make for my 15 YO Yorkie and the ability to have this done in the home reduced the stress and anxiety for Remy and me. Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr. Jem Scott-Emuakpor was professional, caring and so supportive during this difficult time. She took the time to examine our little girl, reviewed her health history and offered support as we discussed this decision. Dr. Jen took the time to explain the process and walked us through every step giving us time to understand the importance of each step and what to expect. She gave us time to love on our girl and say goodbye. Our little girl was a very small Pekingese that weighed 5 lbs and after she passed Dr. Jim brought in the most beautiful basket to place Coco in and I will never forget that perfect touch and how she made me feel that she truly cared for the situation at hand. It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.

We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Our family felt very fortunate that we had Dr John Murray as our Coda vet to assist our dying dog with euthanasia. He displayed a perfect combination of gentle guidance, and empathy for our family during this difficult time. We could not be more thankful that he was there to assist our beloved dog during his end of life.
I fought putting Floyd to sleep for about a year but I think he was really ready. Even though it was so sad, Sarah was so sweet and calm. She gave us space to just love him and she told us exactly what she was going to do and how Floyd was going to be with each step. He was his usual wonderful self and let her do what she needed to do. She asked us if we wanted some of his hair but he was very dirty because I wasn’t going to torture him with baths. But we have his footprints paper and one on like cement. I love my dog so much and this was the most gentle kind way for him to go live with my other dogs. I cannot thank Sarah enough. I recommend her completely.

Dr. Laura DuBose was great!!! She was calm and quite patient even though Patches, my 13 yo calico presented her with a challenge. She was a cat who could be described as a feral indoor cat who has never stepped foot out the door. At no time in her life, no voice was raised to her and never any harsh treatment was experienced by her. Dr. Laura managed to catch her by herself with a towel and injected tranquilizer. She then put her in my arms and I was able to hold her as she went to sleep for good. I admired her compassion and competency. I would highly recommend Dr. DuBose for vet services. The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.

We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.

Dr Brittany was amazing! The communication before the appointment was perfect. I hadn’t had to say goodbye to a pet before and Dr Brittany was supper comforting and assured me she wanted to best for my baby. It was as peaceful as it possibly could be. My baby had high anxiety going in the car, let alone seeing the vet. So, the fact she was able to be at her home and having no anxiety in her last moments, really was so relieving for me. We recently had to make the difficult choice for our dog to utilize in home pet euthanasia. As this was our first loss of this kind, our vet referred us to CodaPet. Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Euthanasia literally translates to "good death" and as someone who worked in the death industry for 5 years, I am intimately associated with dying, death, and after death processes. Despite this experience, nothing in this life prepares you for the responsibility of choosing the "when" of your beloved companion's death. I had many discussions with our primary vet regarding Bane's impending death and I knew I wanted him to die at home in his favorite spot. They referred me to Codapet in order to make sure Bane would be able to die at home. When the day came, Dr. Wasmoen respectfully entered to our home. She was calm, soft spoken, patient, and reassuring. Her transparency and stable presence during one of the hardest decisions of my life cannot be understated. Although, I will never be able to describe in words the gift she gave my family by helping with this transition; I can say that Bane died peacefully, with dignity, and surrounded by love. THAT is a "good death" to me.

My sweet girls went to heaven together on July 17th. Sassy (18) and Honey (15) made our house a home. We were so very blessed to have as many years as we did with our girls. When I think of the potential trauma that my cat would have endured by transport to the vet (which he hated) and the hustle/bussle of the vet hospital, having Smudge pass at home was the best and only option for us. My beloved senior tuxedo cat Neemo got diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in his mouth and jaw and began to decline very very rapidly. When it was time to say goodbye, I dreaded taking him to a vet clinic or ER where we would have to ride in the car, sit in a waiting room with people and other pets, and not know exactly when we would be seen for a last-minute or walk in appointment. Clicking that schedule button was honestly emotionally one of the most difficult moments I've ever faced, but in my heart I knew it was time, so I was very thankful for the option to schedule so quickly. Dr. Becca and vet tech assistant Morgan in Los Angeles were absolute ANGELS on one of my hardest days ever. When they arrived at my apartment, Dr. Becca and Morgan greeted me and Neemo kindly, and talked with me about his life and what kind of cat he was which really helped me feel more at ease. She then talked me through exactly what the procedure would entail and what I would expect. She talked with me and to Neemo throughout the procedure in a calm, reassuring voice which relieved both his anxiety and mine immensely until his final moment. I was then given a moment alone with my baby to hold him and to say my final goodbye. I truly could not have asked or hoped for a better goodbye for my precious feline child. And the mementos I now have of him- his ashes, prints of his nose and paws, and a clay paw print are beautiful things I will cherish forever. Thank you again to the wonderful Dr. Becca and vet tech Morgan for their compassionate care through CodaPet. Veterinary professionals like them are truly angels in our world <3

Eddie loved her the minute she entered our home, and was very comfortable , she was in good hands. We all felt the love. I am still in awe at the peaceful passing of our girl. Dr. Perzak was wonderful on our hardest day. She is the perfect person for this hard job. She took such beautiful care of our Mollie girl, and was available on short notice as Mollie’s status declined quickly. We will be forever thankful for Dr. Perzak and the peace she brought our family in such a devastating time.

We did everything we could to ensure he had the best last day and that definitely included having Dr. Dykstra come to our house to assist. From the time we scheduled the appointment until Koda was returned to us, she showered us with kindness and care. I have never been able to do this with my pets at home so I had no idea what to expect. She gently guided us through every step of the process and gave us plenty of time to say goodbye. I cannot recommend Dr. Dykstra enough. She took such very good care of our boy, right up to the end. In spite of the pain, we knew he was in such caring hands.
Dr. Christine is an incredibly compassionate and caring person. She really helped ease the pain of losing our companion and furbaby. The follow-up has also been amazing. She took her time with everything and helped us start to heal. I recommend her services.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.

We contacted Coda after striking out with our regular vet and 2 other local vets who do in-home euthanasia. (One of which hasn't called us back after 15 days.) Our dog's condition was declining rapidly, and Dr Adarraga went above and beyond to move up his scheduled arrival time. When it was obvious there was no hope of recovery, Dr Adarraga ended Buddy's suffering in the gentlest, kindest way, explaining the procedure to us and supporting our decision. He was professional but also so sympathetic. Thank you, Dr Adarraga and Coda!
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.

Losing Tigressa was one of the hardest things we've ever been through, and Dr. Megan Lowman treated her—and us—with extraordinary compassion and kindness. From the moment she arrived, Dr. Lowman gave us the time we needed, explained everything gently, and made an incredibly painful experience as peaceful and dignified as possible. She treated Tigressa with such respect and genuine love, and it was clear that she truly cares about both her patients and the families who love them. Being able to say goodbye in the comfort of our home was an immeasurable gift, and Dr. Lowman's calm, caring presence brought us comfort during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. We will always be grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and empathy she showed our family. Thank you for helping Tigressa leave this world surrounded by love.
