Dr. April Le Blanc grew up in Los Angeles, where her deep love and connection with animals began at an early age. By the time she was seven, she already knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. Inspired by her dream to attend UC Davis, she pursued her undergraduate degree at Mount Holyoke College before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis in 1992. For Dr. Le Blanc, veterinary medicine has always been more than a career—it’s her true calling and a reflection of her lifelong devotion to animals. For over 30 years, Dr. Le Blanc dedicated her career to emergency veterinary medicine in the Bay Area. During that time, she formed countless meaningful bonds with both pets and their people—often in moments of crisis, compassion, and hope. Those experiences shaped her understanding of how powerful the human–animal connection can be, and how deeply it matters to support families through every stage of their pet’s life, including the most difficult one: saying goodbye. Today, Dr. Le Blanc feels honored to offer gentle, in-home euthanasia services through CodaPet. She believes that allowing a beloved companion to pass peacefully, surrounded by familiar sights and the people they love most, is one of the greatest gifts an owner can give. With empathy, experience, and grace, she helps families navigate this tender moment with compassion and care.
